PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

MCC – 2501 Vinac Copolymer Paint is a fast drying coating exhibiting an excellent Colour /gloss retention, elasticity, scratch hardness, weathering and resistance to mild acids and alkalis and salt water. It gives excellent adhesion to various substrates like mild steel, copper, brass, treated aluminum, concrete without pre-treatment.

RECOMMENDED USAGE

MCC – 2501 is used as a self priming primer cum finish coat for exterior steelwork in mild to moderate corrosive atmosphere. It is used in Paper Industries, Pharmaceutical companies, Construction Formworks and inside Tipper bodies & Trailers.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Ensure that the surface is oil and grease free clean and dry. Loose rust is to be removed or Rust convertor may be applied as a protective measure. Add recommended thinner to adjust application viscosity and apply with brush or spray.

7. THEORETICAL COVERAGE : 12 sq mtr/litre @ 35 microns dft
8. APPLICATION VISCOSITY (30oC) : 25 - 25 seconds
9. FLASH POINT : > 35oC
10. SURFACE PREPARATION : Proper cleaning of the metal surface will enhance the life of the coating. Clean & wipe the surface to get free from dust, rust scale, loose particles and grease.
11. APPLICATION METHOD : Brush or spray or dipping.
12. RECOMMENDED DFT : 30 - 40 Microns
13. PACKING : 20 Litres single pack
14. SHELF LIFE : One year in sealed drums
15. CLEAN UP : It is good working practice to periodically flush out spray equipment during the course of the working day.
16. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS : Both polymer and thinner are rapid drying type. Always paint with small qty and replace lid after use. Use safety precautions regarding Flammability of Solvents & Paints.
