MCC 2912 is a two component aliphatic polyurethane and isocyanate based primer cum finish paint. It provides excellent adhesion along with excellent corrosion resistance & outdoor exposure durability. Being self priming it can be directly applied on prepared MS substrates, galvanized surfaces etc.
MCC 2912 is typically suitable for use in all machinery, OEM application, valves, pumps & for maintenance jobs of painting.
Remove all oil and grease from surfaces using Metcon Special cleaning solvent. Remove rust by sanding with emery paper no. 80 or 120. Clean the surfaces thoroughly before blasting. Ensure blasting is Sa 2.5 profile. Remove loose particles by blown air. Do not expose blasted surface for long period before painting. Proper cleaning of the metal surface will enhance the life of the coating. Clean and wipe the surface to get free from dust, rust scale, loose particles and grease.
