EPOXY OIL RESISTANT PRIMER - (METCON MCC - 1110 )

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Metcon MCC 1110 is a two - component zinc phosphate based epoxy oil resistant primer with excellent corrosion resistance and adhesion to the bare metal and treated surface. It is a suitable primer for almost all the topcoats including Polyurethane, Epoxy, Vinyl, Acrylic, Synthetic & Fast Drying Finish Paint, etc. It has excellent adhesion over galvanized steel. After complete curing it gives a tough film which provides a long term protection against mild atmospheric conditions. It is resistant to Hydraulic oil and Transformer oil.

RECOMMENDED USAGE

It is used as an oil resistant primer for internal of transformer tanks /oil storage tanks/ drums etc. It is also used as tough coat on bottom frames of transformers.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Ensure that the surface is oil and grease free clean and dry. Rust is to be removed or Rust convertor may be applied as a protective measure. Mix base and hardener in the ratio. Allow it to maturate and apply with brush or spray.

Clean Up : It is good working practice to periodically flush out spray equipment during the course of the working day. Frequency of cleaning will depend upon amount sprayed, temperature and elapsed time, including any delays.
Safety Precautions : This product is intended for use only by professional applicator. Use of personal protective equipment and adequate ventilation is recommended during application.
