PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Metcon MCC 2309 is a primer cum finish paint in two pack system based on Polyurethane resin, that provides excellent corrosion resistance along with gloss & color retention. The product is direct to metal type of coating and requires no primer. It provides excellent UV resistance, gloss and colour retention.

RECOMMENDED USAGE

Metcon MCC 2309 provides a finish with outstanding physical properties and weathering resistance & is recommended for commercial vehicle, trucks, tippers, trailers. As well as it can be used for steel structures for resisting weather exposure.

DIRECTIONS TO USE

Remove all oil and grease from surfaces using Metcon Special Cleaning Solvent. Remove rust by sanding with emery No 80 or 120. Clean the surface thoroughly before blasting. Ensure blasting is Sa 2.5 profile. Remove loose particles by blown air. Do not expose blasted surface for long period before painting. Proper cleaning of the metal surface will enhance the life of the coating. Clean & wipe the surface to get free from dust, rust scale, loose particles and grease.

Gloss at 60 Degree : 25 – 30 units
Theoretical Coverage : 10 Sq.mtrs per ltr at 50 microns DFT
Packing : 20 litres dual pack
Shelf Life : One year in sealed drums
Special Instructions : Both base and hardener are rapid type. Always paint with small quantity and replace lid after use. Use safety precautions regarding flammability of solvents & paint.
Safety Precautions : As a general safety measure, inhalation of solvent vapours or paint mist and contact of liquid paint with skin and eyes should be avoided. Forced ventilation should be provided when applying paint in confined space or stagnant air.
