Metcon 1124 is a solventless, low viscous, two component epoxy system recommended for concrete and masonry substrates. It provides excellent adhesion to concrete and cementatious substrates. It is low in viscosity & and hence gives higher coverage. It has excellent penetrating properties. It shows excellent bonding to epoxy screed and top coats.
Metcon 1124 is used as primer, in conjunction with Metcon range of floor toppings.
Before primer application, ensure that the concrete is clean and dry. Moisture test is conducted by moisture meter or plastic sheet method (ASTM D 4263 : Standard test method for indicating moisture in concrete). The residual moisture should not be more than 4 - 5%
