Metcon MCC 2715 is a high performance solvent free epoxy coating having 100% solids for corrosion protection of steel, concrete, wood, metal even under total immersion condition.
Metcon MCC 2715 contains specialty blend of Polymer Resins, pigments as filler and cured with Polyamino-amide system giving excellent corrosion resistance with hardwearing properties and excellent resistance to marine/ salt water atmosphere. The coating gives exceptional film building properties and is ideal for hulls of boats, deck finishes, cargo holds etc.
The substrate to be painted should be thoroughly cleaned for all sorts of dirt and contamination. Both parts are to be mixed in the given ratio and to be applied by brush, roller or airless spray at around 150 - 250 microns. In general one coat is sufficient. It is however recommended that a coat of our Aliphatic Polyurethane coating is given for areas prone to prolonged UV to avoid fading /chalking of the Epoxy coating.
