PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Metcon MCC – 1141 is a fast drying primer exhibiting a high degree of impermeability to water and water vapors, thereby showing corrosion resistance in moderate to severe corrosive atmospheric conditions. It also provides an excellent hardness, elasticity, and resistance to mild acids and alkalis, weathering and salt water.

RECOMMENDED USAGE

MCC – 1141 is used as a primer for M.S. structures in moderate to severe corrosive atmospheric conditions where water resistance is also required. It is recommended for use in Paper industries, Textile industries, Distilleries, pharmaceutical companies, fertilizer plants and construction steelworks.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Ensure that the surface is oil and grease free clean and dry. Rust is to be removed or Rust convertor may be applied as a protective measure. Add recommended thinner to adjust application viscosity and apply with brush or spray.

13. SHELF LIFE : One year in sealed drums
14. CLEAN UP : It is good working practice to periodically flush out spray equipment during the course of the working day. Frequency of cleaning will depend upon amount sprayed, temperature and elapsed time, including any delays.
15. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS : Both polymer and thinner are rapid drying type. Always paint with small qty and replace lid after use. Use safety precautions regarding Flammability of Solvents & Paints.
