Metcon MCC – 2708 is a two-component polyamide cured high build epoxy coating which provides excellent chemical & weather resistance in moderate to severe corrosive atmospheric conditions. This coating adheres strongly to epoxy primer or inorganic zinc silicate coated surfaces and concrete etc. forming a tough and hard, durable film. The thickness of the coating can be built up suitably to meet DFT specifications for marine conditions. It can be applied directly on steel surface, concrete piers, superstructures and pipelines. It provides excellent resistance to lub oils, petroleum related products, chemical and saline water.
MCC – 2708 is used as high performance coating in Chemical Industries, RCC structures, Pharmaceutical and paper industries, Waste Water treatment plants, Oil Refineries and Textile fields. It can be used as an intermediate high build coating. Its anticorrosive barrier can withstand in aggressive corrosive condition.
Clean and sound substrate coated with anticorrosive Epoxy primer is required for this Intercoat. Furthermore it may be covered with Epoxy or PU top coat at good dft.
